How long have you been in the mortgage business and what inspired you to get into it?
I have been in the Mortgage Business for 4 years, as a Licensed Loan Officer.
 
Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
I work with all types of customers; Veterans, First Time Homebuyer, Multiple Home Owners
 
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I listen to their needs and goals, and then find the best loan program for them.

At my previous company, I won the Champions Club (Top Producing Loan Officers) 2015 & 2016
 
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
Patience and a Positive Attitude will help you get into your new home sooner than later.
 
How has the mortgage industry changed since you started, and what would you expect in the future?
The amount of documentation needed from the borrower to get approved for a loan. Technology will be the way of the future when processing loans and closing closings.
 
What part of the home loan process do customers find most difficult and how do you help them through it?
I set the expectation level at the beginning of the loan process. There is a lot of documentation that is needed to approve loans today. As long as the borrower understands the expectation of what is needed and the time frame the documents are needed, the process will run smoothly.
 
What can borrowers do to insure a smooth mortgage underwriting process?
Start gathering and organizing your financial documents in advance. This will give the borrower time to retrieve documents they may have misplaced or lost.
 
Summary of where you grew up: family, affiliations, college, high school, etc.
I was born and raised in Upstate; Owego, NY. I graduated from Iowa Wesleyan University, 1987, with my BA in Business Administration; I graduated from the University of Phoenix, 2000, with my MBA. I have been married for 7 years to my beautiful wife Alicia, I have three step-daughters, identical twins Makenzi & Avory (19), Chole (16) and my son, Jasper is 5.
 
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I am most satisfied when I am sitting at the closing table, and my buyers are receiving the keys to their new home!!!
 
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I have traveled all over the world, but I am most proud of having traveled and visited all but six states in the great USA; North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and Alaska. My goal is to have traveled the remaining states listed above in the next five years.
